This Cat6 (or category 6 cable) is a 4-twisted-pair construction made with 23 AWG wires and is capable of gigabit speeds. The jacket is made of a PVC material and is CM rated for in-wall installation. The increased gauge as well as a higher precision cable construction allows for better performance overall than Cat5e. The twisted pairs are twisted each at different frequencies to eliminate the possibility of cross talk. This cable is marked at every foot and comes in an easy pull box. Conductors: Cat6 23 AWG, CCA, 4 twisted pairs, Unshielded, Patch or Crossover ready, Base1000-T, 1000 ft.
